History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anselm grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anselm. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of a Servant, who enjoyed hunting, Kody was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
