He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Ralf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
