History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his religion dominates his actions

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.
