Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and an old rival family wants him found

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and doesn't want to be a miller and was forced into it by his family

History: Born in the west to a Doctor, Hubert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He struck the Doctor job and began his own company from there.
