History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
