Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Arnold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has moderate length brown hair. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Roger is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roger grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roger. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to unite with his sister

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly crossbows and swords. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His silver hair is long and unkept. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Jeweler who has hired him part-time. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Geoffrey grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Stylist, but he got bored and became a Cook. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

Motivation: To be a Stylist again; and he is unsatisfied with his job
