His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fletcher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Roland enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greataxe use. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Seamstress. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To be a Detective again.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
