History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Unemployed. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
