History: Born in the south to a Sellsword, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mayor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mayor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Mayor job and began his own company from there.

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
