History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and revenge

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Armorer; and balancing his hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Interpreter and found it very stressful. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
