Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Randal embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Randal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Randal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Unemployed. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. He has hazel eyes and a tan hat with a white feather.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is an amazing painter.

History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Adelard was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister
