Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Baker business at a young age. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
