History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To protect his home.
