History: Born in the north to a Priest, Geoffrey learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Priest work with an outfit from a few towns over. Priest work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Being a Priest kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 8. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of brigands

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
