History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Miles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He works hard and plays hard.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alexandre was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
