History: He comes from a rich western family. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Fisher and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fisher.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is content

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he's attracted to the pc
