History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to pay off his debts

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his daughter
