Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Anselm was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anselm decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.
