History: Dean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Hunter was taken on many hunting expeditions. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in the south to a Masseuse, Manfred learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up work as a Masseuse and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
