He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in the north to a Mayor, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mayor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mayor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
