Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Adelard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. A true patriot, Nicholas would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He is fixated on the number 93. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
