History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Actor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: He was born into a rich family. Roland was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Apothecary. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Layabout. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.
