History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Dustin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He takes great joy in being the best Miner in town.

History: Henry hails from a village terrorized by drow. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To be a Painter again.
