His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

History: Gifted from a young age, Balimaar studied abroad. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Priest. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'10" when asserting himself. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Manfred is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
