History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many giants want him driven away

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Alex was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Locksmith. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
