History: Chad was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his youth he was a Beggar, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has worked as a Roofer like his mother before him.

Personality: Gunter is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Justin was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
