Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Shane isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
