History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alex grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alex. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
