Description: 5'10" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is white and very short. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a green vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his green boots flare out at the collars. His auburn hair is long and unkept. He has blue eyes and a green hat with a black feather.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Ernest was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is baby faced.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. He has no hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
