History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Gerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. During his travels, Guy and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Guy discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Guy fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is wracked by social anxiety
