Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Godfrey is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is obsessed with his god.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
