History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He became a Layabout soon after.

Description: 5'5" and muscular, this eastern man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has moderate length brown hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He takes great joy in being the best Brewer in town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has worked as a Brewer like his mother before him.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: He wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. He is portly but not overly obese. He has shaved his head bald. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Patrick was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mercenary. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Anthony studied abroad. A freak accident while working with his Mayor father left him crippled. He struck the Banker job and began his own company from there.
