Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerard's homeland. Gerard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tailor. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tailor, and he later adopted a second daughter.
