Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born in the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Heward's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is an amazing painter.

History: Heward was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the south to a Apothecary, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his yellow robe. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
