History: Born to a Sellsword, his father struggled to pay the bills. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. He struck the Herbalist job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student he started as a Priest, but he got bored and became a Bather. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
