History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Brewer who has hired him part-time. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Map Maker profession.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He has worked as a Brewer like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To be a Beggar again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Born in the north to a Bather, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
