History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He wears his golden hair down. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Adelard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's looking for his big break

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His black hair is cut short. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.
History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: He was born in a small mountains village. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Guy's homeland. Guy decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
