Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a fancy black suit. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Revenge; and many giants want him driven away

Description: He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. He carries a battered whip and tarnished sword as well. His black hair is long and unkept. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arnold is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
