Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Gilbert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gilbert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
