Chad Darby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair is auburn and curly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Chad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Chad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

John Bentham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a simple black robe with pastel stripes complete with hood. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult

Cory Trollope, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather. He is physically well-built. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Trym was born the youngest of three triplets. His childhood dream was to be a Bowyer, but he was a colossal failure. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Theodoric Mitchell, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: He was born in a small plains village. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. During his travels, Theodoric and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theodoric discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theodoric fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
