Jocelyn Ogden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, tan shirt, and pastel tie. He carries with him a set of shields on his belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. He wears his black hair up. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is a Carpenter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Jocelyn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Roland Hornsby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has no hair. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He was born in the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
