History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Tailor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sculptor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.
