Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anselm grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
