Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Engraver. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his father struggled to pay the bills. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roger never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Norman was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Norman's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Painter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
