History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gifted from a young age, Raymond studied abroad. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has worked as a Interpreter like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
