Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This western man is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, brown shirt, and blue tie. His clothes are grease stained in places. He wears his auburn hair down. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and wishes to resurrect an old love
