History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: Born in the north to a Healer, Clerebold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable
