History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Lance was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Revenge; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Diggory abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality
