History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away
