Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shane's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Assassin for hire.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This slender man stands about 6'5". He wears a grey tunic with blue highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around his shoes. His head has been shaved. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 70. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a tan tunic with black highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. His hair is chestnut and very short. He has hazel eyes and a tan hat with a black feather.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Mercenary soon after.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He has a missing right arm. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his trident with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Manfred was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Manfred's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to prove his worth to the world
